CHIYOJI, a Japanese sock maker founded in 1951 in Kakogawa, Hyogo Prefecture, has been featured in “Rooted JAPAN”, a project by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The three-part video series, “Into the Roots Episode 2,” introduces our Japanese-made socks, our commitment to comfort, and the craftsmanship behind our sock-making process.

What Is JETRO’s “Rooted JAPAN”?

“Rooted JAPAN” is a JETRO project that shares the appeal of Japanese culture and craftsmanship with audiences around the world, including food, crafts, fashion, and everyday goods. In this series, JETRO introduces CHIYOJI’s approach to making socks and the passion behind our work.
